After watching the Lakers fall to the Celtics last summer followed by the Cub's early exit to the October madness I've been a bit jaded this basketball season. I have followed the Laker's, but not as closely as I normally do. One thing I have found this season that is pretty cool for a Chicago girl like me is www.justin.tv which allows me to watch most of the Laker games online for free. The problem is I can't keep myself awake for all those weekday games that start at 9:30PM here. So anyway the playoffs are here and while I am a true Laker fan, I look forward to watching All the action. I believe this year will be a Laker vs. Cavs final with the Lakers taking it in 6 games.
Today my husband and I went to Waukesha Sport Collectibles to get Steve Wright on his Super Bowl I helmet. He only has a handful of people left to get on it before it is complete. Even though I'm a Chicago Bear's fan it is always fun to meet new people. Today I made sure I wore my cub's gear in the heart of Brewer country. I love getting looks!
Back to the game, cubs are leading 5 to 4. Marmol comes in and gets Cotts out of a jam. I'd love to see Gregg and Cotts gone. However, as I type this Gregg is warming up in the pen...guh.
