Today is opening day and I feel like it has taken so long to get here. I guess this is probably due to the fact that last season ended so abruptly. It took me a bit of time to get over last season, but ultimately I did and I'm glad I got to follow the Cubs on that wild ride.
This year seems to have the makings of another great season. I am anxious to see the off season pick ups and how they mesh in the City of Chicago. Next Saturday we head up to Milwaukee to see the Cubs play against the Brewers.
Well off to get a workout in before the opening pitch!
