My husband and I made the trek up to Milwaukee yesterday to see the Cubs play one of our division rivals. We had standing room only tickets, which I wasn't too sure what type of view we would have of the game. We got a good tip from cub fan and we ended up with a table and stools. I personally think it was better than having seats to the game. We could stretch out and had a table to eat our ballgame fair on. The side picture is the view we had. We have standing room only tickets again for the next series and we are for sure going to try for the same location again.
After watching Lou's bullpen moves from the day before I was ready for a win. Big Z was pitching against Dave Bush, so I figured it was in the bag. No so, Big Z struggled at bit and threw close to 120 pitches. There were flashes that we'd get out of it, but the Brewers just kept finding ways to keep people on base and get more runs. In the 9th inning Sori came up big and we took the lead back. It was a real nail bitter that seems silly to make a big deal of this early in the season, but we needed that game. When it comes down to the end of the season this ONE GAME could make a BIG difference. Rubber match tonight on ESPN. I love when they are on at night, but not on ESPN, Joe Morgan and John Miller no so much.
Off to my grandma's for Easter!
