On to the next goal.....Written December 5th, but lost internet and never posted....

On to the next goal.  Back 9 weeks ago I had a goal to run a 5k.  This goal has been accomplished.  Although my 5k was canceled outside due to snow, I was able to run a 5k inside on the treadmill.  I now need a new goal.  That goal is to get a better defined and shaped body.  The next step I’m taking it to practice the “Body for Life” 12 week program.  I would also like to combine this with bridge to 10k.  My next goal is to be a fitter, smaller, leaner runner.  I’d like to define my muscles and lose fat.

“Don’t let anybody tell you that you can’t do it.  You can.  It’s up to you.  Decide to do it and follow through.”

My stats before I started my couch to 5k program was 212 pounds.  At the end of the couch to 5k I’m sitting at 208.  I’d like to be at a comfortable weight of 150 with visible muscles on my arms, stomach, and legs.  I’d also like my BMI to be within a healthy range. 
Body for Life – Week 1
“There is a world of difference between knowing what to do and actually doing it.”
How do you feel deep down inside?
I feel like I have a healthy body inside that is fighting to get out.  I’m tough and I want my outside to match the inside.
How do you really feel about yourself?
I feel like I’m carrying with me extra weight that needs to leave my body.  After doing the running program it taught me that I can do anything I set my mind too.
Are you confident, energetic, and strong?
Yes I know I can accomplish this and more!
Do you often wonder if you’re on the right track?
I know I am.
Would you like to create a brighter future?
Yes I want to feel the best I possibly can.

My personal mantra:
I am strong, powerful, healthy, and I believe in the power of being the best person I can be.  I am creating a perfect body that is lean, toned, and fit.  I see myself in the mirror as that body.  It is mine.  I will obtain it. 

What are the 5 things I want to accomplish in the next 12 weeks?
1.      Within 12 weeks I will lose 30 pounds of fat within 12 weeks
2.      Within 12 weeks I will wake up each morning excited to be alive and continue on this amazing journey of life!
3.      Within 12 weeks I will gain 5 pounds of muscle
4.      Within 12 weeks I will have a healthy BMI
5.      Within 12 weeks I will  run a 10K easily

Three things I need to start doing.
1.        I will be lifting weights
2.       I will be getting proper nutrition
3.       I will be working out 6 days per week
